What is this project about?

The City of Mukilteo is working on plans for a Low Impact Development (LID) project at two different sites in the Harbour Pointe area. The goal of this project is to protect Mukilteo's natural environment by removing polluting substances that build up in stormwater. Stormwater is water that comes from rain or melted snow that can collect on top of surfaces such as pavement, where it can not be easily absorbed.

Explore this site to learn more about:

  • Low Impact Development (LID) and its benefits

  • The impacts of these changes and how they will improve water quality

  • Project design plans for each site

Let us know what you think: take the project survey. The survey will be open until 4/1/2020. Your feedback is valuable to us!
